Anouk graduated as a Master of Laws from KU Leuven in 2012. In 2013, she obtained a Master after Master in Tax Law, also at KU Leuven.

She started her career as a tax consultant at EY FSO after which she returned to the university to focus on academic research on tax gaps in developing countries.

Since June 2019, she is registered at the Brussels Bar where she joined Tiberghien Attorneys at Law.
