Mathieu graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) where he obtained his Master in Law in 2011. He also obtained an Executive Master in Tax Management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management in 2013.

 

Mathieu started his career as a tax consultant in international mobility of individuals within one of the 4 Big Four consulting firms on the Belgian market. He then joined the Brussels Bar in 2014 and has since then worked as a tax lawyer in leading law firms in Brussels where he has built up a strong experience in corporate and international taxation. He developed a practice combining the activity of advising and representing Belgian and foreign taxpayers in the context of tax audits and disputes with the Belgian tax authorities.

 

Mathieu joined the Litigation team of Tiberghien in February 2021 where he advises and represents both individuals and national and international companies in administrative and judicial procedures in tax matters.
