It is therefore with great pleasure that we are announcing the appointment of two new partners from 1 July 2022: Bart DE COCK (Antwerp/Ghent) and Thomas ROBERDEAU (Luxembourg).
Within this framework, Tiberghien is securing its focus on innovation and growth as an independent tax and more office in Belgium and Luxembourg. The appointments of Bart and Thomas as partners are a well-deserved recognition of their expertise, dedication and inspiration. These continuing efforts allow them to ‘raise the bar’ and stimulate the working environment to guarantee our closely-guarded quality standards.
Bart DE COCK focuses on all aspects of corporate taxation. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of taxation that concerns banks, insurers, pension funds and investment companies. Bart also advises and assists clients in the public sector. In cooperation with his colleague, Charlotte Meskens, Bart has, on an annual basis since 2022, diligently accepted the task of updating the highly regarded work, “Vademecum Vennootschapsbelasting”.
Thomas ROBERDEAU has many years of experience providing legal advice on investment funds and mergers and acquisitions within the financial sector. He also assists alternative collective investment undertakings. Both multinationals and private equity firms count on Thomas in their strategic transactions. Thomas teaches corporate law in Luxembourg and is a lecturer at the University of Nancy (France). Furthermore, he has frequently been appointed by the Commercial Court of Luxembourg as a trustee and liquidator. With Thomas’ appointment, Tiberghien is securing the strategic importance of its law firm in Luxembourg and is focusing on a full service approach for our Luxembourg clients.
