It is therefore with great pleasure that we are announcing the appointment of two new partners from 1 January 2024: Eldar MINGALEYEV (Brussels) and Céline VAN HOUTE (Ghent).
Within this framework, Tiberghien is securing its focus on innovation and growth as an independent tax and more office in Belgium and Luxembourg. The appointments of Eldar and Céline as partners are a well-deserved recognition of their expertise, dedication and inspiration. These continuing efforts allow them to ‘raise the bar’ and stimulate the working environment to guarantee our closely-guarded quality standards.
Eldar MINGALEYEV assists family businesses in structuring and developing their projects and investments (such as private equity) both nationally and internationally. He assists family businesses in designing and implementing (complex) restructurings (such as mergers, demergers, cross-border seat transfers, etc.).
Over the years, he has acquired extensive expertise in corporate taxation and estate and succession planning. With the appointment of Eldar as partner, the firm wishes to further strengthen its focus on assisting and advising family groups.
Céline VAN HOUTE is part of the Litigation team of Tiberghien since 2020. Céline assists private clients as well as entrepreneurs and SMEs in disputes with Tax Authorities. Hereby, she assists her clients during (unannounced) tax audits and dealing with disputes relating direct tax matters. Céline has acquired a large experience in (negotiating court settlements of) tax crime cases. She has developed a particular expertise and practical experience in voluntary tax disclosures and repatriation of foreign assets. With Céline's appointment, the firm aims to continue to promote and strengthen the organic growth of the litigation department, which now numbers around twenty skilled and motivated lawyers.
