Maximilian Kocks

Maximilian is a graduate of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where he obtained his Master's degree in Law in 2019. He also obtained an LL.M. from the UCLA School of Law (US) in 2020 as well as a specialised Master in Tax Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2022.

Maximilian began his career as a tax lawyer at a Magic Circle law firm, where he acquired extensive experience in corporate and international taxation.

Maximilian joined Tiberghien's corporate tax team in 2024. He advises companies on Belgian and international corporate taxation, with a particular focus on structuring and implementing cross-border projects in a Belgium-Germany context. As a native German speaker, Maximilian is also an active member of Tiberghien’s German Desk.
