Maja Vulevic

Maja joined Tiberghien in September 2018. She assists corporate as well as individual clients in the area of direct taxes, advising on various aspects of Luxembourg and international taxation.

She began her career as a lawyer in Belgrade, Serbia, in a law firm specialized in business law where she gained experience in corporate law, corporate taxation and basic knowledge in transfer pricing.

For an academic year Maja served as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law, Union University, Belgrade, where she was in charge of back-up classes in labour law.

For two years, she was involved in labour and family law legal clinics, providing pro-bono legal advice to citizens, a project sponsored by the Faculty of Law, Union University, Belgrade, in partnership with a law firm from Belgrade, Serbia.

Maja holds an LL.M in European and International Tax Law from the University of Luxembourg. She obtained her Bachelor degree and her Master degree from the Faculty of Law, Union University, Belgrade.

Maja is fluent in Serbian (mother tongue) and English. She has a very good knowledge of French.
